Week 15 of 52 - April 2010

This week's post is a couple of captures of an orchestra honors concert my youngest auditioned for and was selected to. Seating for the concert was pretty limited so I didn't get any outstanding shots of him performing. The first shot is his section (he is back left in the shot) and the second shot is of the entire orchestra.

Oh and something I learned from the first picture, if you watch orchestra and cross your legs; it is definately right leg over left leg.

  2. great shots! nice coloring too, doesn't look like the lights were in your favor for that one! I miss playing my flute, I need to pick it back up someday

  3. That's too funny about the leg positions. lol Great shots...I used to play the flute in middle and high school, so I know how tricky it can get trying to get a decent pic. ;)

yes there is a lot of stuff going on in the first image but you did an amazing job capturing your son. My eye goes straight to the young man in the back playing the violin. The composition takes my eye right there - then to everything else. Nice.
